Melbourne Storm is proud to release our 2022 Indigenous jersey designed by Coree Thorpe, a proud Yorta Yorta, Gunnai, Gunditjmara and Wurundjeri man and artist, who has used the inspiration of the Rainbow Serpent for his special creation.
A long-time Storm supporter, Coree has strengthened his connection with Melbourne in recent years through his Leadership and Community Development role at Dardi Munwurro, an indigenous organisation which has a long-standing partnership with the club.
The 2022 jersey’s design connects all facets of the Storm family, representing players, coaches, staff, members and fans across its features.
Coree has used a familiar tale of the Rainbow Serpent to draw a connection to Storm and the club’s journey in the NRL throughout its first 24 years. The tale has strong ties to Storm’s journey up and down the east coast of Australia in recent season and also provides a symbol for how regeneration is required for each new season.
The lines on the jersey, coloured yellow and orange, represent Storm’s active years in the NRL with the orange lines symbolising years where the club has won a Grand Final, while the purple lines represent the ribs - the people and the players of the organisation.
Diamonds adorn each side of the artwork, symbolising the men and women who come together to form Melbourne Storm.
“Like the snake, each year changes. It’s the shedding of people, players but the journey continues. It’s stronger, it learns, it heals and changes,” Coree shared.
“You’ve got to understand where you’ve come from to know where you are going and I think Storm do that very well.

When you order online at www.citysportsandf1.com.au you have a choice of having your order delivered to you at home or work, or you can collect it in-store at City Sports & F1, Melbourne, Australia.
All City Sports and F1 online orders are shipped out of Melbourne, Victoria using Australia Post standard or express shipping depending on what you have indicated in your order. Standard delivery is free for orders over $150* (Exclusions may apply to certain products). Standard delivery fee is $9.95 for orders under $150, $14.95 for all express orders. Once payment has been received your order will be dispatched within 1 business day. Your order will be sent with a unique identification number, which can be tracked at https://auspost.com.au
Bulky and fragile items are not included in our free standard post promotion. These items are clearly marked. Standard delivery for these items is $14.95, $19.95 for express delivery. These items are sent with a signature on delivery for added security.
Should the product happen to be out of stock we will notify you immediately to let you know how long it will take to come in or if you would like to choose another product.
Store Pickup
Store pickup is available on all orders. Any order that contains an item marked "Click and Collect only" will only be available for store pickup. This includes if you have added something to your basket that could normally be posted. The entire order will need to be picked up from store. For store pickup option, we endeavour to have orders ready for pickup within two hours of you ordering. Store pickup is available Monday-Sunday 10am-5pm. If you need your order urgently, please give us a call on (03) 9654 5448. For all pickup orders, Australian government issued photo I.D. with a home address matching that of the order, will need to be produced. If someone else is picking up your order, please let us know. They will still need to produce government issued photo I.D. to confirm their identity and address.

Shipping to New Zealand costs $15.00. Please allow up to 14 days for your item to arrive after dispatch.

Returns
Returns are available on all City Sports and F1 orders.
Extended Christmas returns
We hope everyone loves their sports merchandise goodies? Don't worry if they don't, items purchased online can be returned in store or by post.
Items purchased between 1st November and 24th December 2023 can be returned to us until 31st January 2024 for a refund or exchange. Items must be in their original condition.
